The best surfers in the world were in town for the Trestles stop on the World Championship Tour. The Reef team ( Ben Bougious, Jay "Bottle" Thompson, & Bobby Martinez) all surfed great but were unfortunately all eliminated by the quarter-finals. 8x World Champion, Kelly Slater, went on to with the event, battling Taj Burrow in the final. "There was some of the best surfing, in an event, ever, happening here at Trestles" explained Kelly after his win. If you had a chance to watch any part of the event you know he was telling the truth.

Daniel and Bret linked up with Xcel Wetsuit company to put together a How To.. video featuring Bede Durrbridge & Xcel's new line of wetsuits. The video will show simple instructions of how to properly get in & out of an Xcel Wetsuit.

Following the Rip Curl Pro Search Event, in Bali, the Reef team including: Nick Rozsa, Ben Bogieous, & Jay "Bottle" Thompson, stayed on the beautiful island to enjoy the surf and relaxing lifestyle. Bret went out to capture the end of the event and the boys shredding Bali. After 2 weeks, they set sail for the Mentawais Islands. They boarded the Freedom III, met up with the boys from globe and they were on their way.
